Stepping up for Derby Kids’ Camp

Katie runs the Derby 10K for a cause close to home.

On Sunday 30th March, our Co-Director Katie Bregazzi laced up her running shoes and took to the streets of Derby, proudly flying the flag for Derby Kids’ Camp as part of this year’s Derby 10K.

Katie was one of many fundraising heroes helping to raise awareness and vital funds for the volunteer-run charity, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Supporting holidays that make a lifetime of difference

Derby Kids’ Camp is a local charity that provides free holidays to children across Derby and Derbyshire who might not otherwise get the opportunity to experience one. Many of these children face difficult home lives, financial hardship, or personal challenges that make a week away more than just a treat. It’s a chance to laugh, grow, and make lifelong memories.

With over 50 years of incredible work behind them, Derby Kids’ Camp gives hundreds of children each year the kind of joy, friendship and freedom every child deserves.

Making every step count

Thanks to the amazing generosity of friends, family, clients and the wider community, Katie raised £364 through her fundraising efforts. That amount contributed to an impressive £2,797 raised in total by the Team DKC Derby 10K runners, a fantastic achievement that will go a long way in supporting next summer’s camps.

Each donation directly funds accommodation, food, activities, transport, and more, helping to ensure that every child invited to camp gets a safe, exciting and completely cost-free experience.

Thank you for your support!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared, or cheered Katie on from the sidelines.

We’re always proud to support causes that matter to our team and our community, and we’re sending a massive congratulations to Katie for crossing that finish line!
